Meet Elizabeth
I am a licensed clinical social worker. I work with individuals grappling with a range of emotions such as fear, sadness, and uncertainty. Whether you are navigating loss, facing life transitions, coping with work stress, healing from burnout, battling anxiety, struggling with imposter syndrome, seeking to boost confidence, dealing with relationship challenges, or processing the pain of past hurts, I am here to guide and support you along the way. I use evidence-based strategies to address your unique situation and needs. I can also integrate Christian counseling if it aligns with your preferences. Together, we will delve into underlying issues, cultivate resilience, and strive for increased clarity and courage.
Services Offered
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy can be a safe environment to confront difficult emotions and experiences, gain important insights, acquire useful skills, and nurture healing and growth.
We’ll work towards your individualized goals by assessing the problem with a holistic approach, identifying goals, equipping you with the skills to better manage symptoms as we work towards resolving core issues.
Appointments are offered in-person and virtually.
Interactive Workshops and Educational Speaking Engagements
I offer workshops and psycho-educational speaking engagements related to mental health such as self-care, grief and loss, trauma, crisis intervention and de-escalation, advocacy and navigating the mental health system, and burn-out in both community and corporate settings.
I have prior experience speaking in police departments, schools, corporate offices, and non-profit organizations relating to suicide prevention, de-escalation training, critical incident debriefing, grief, working with individuals with trauma, implicit biases, and combating burn-out.
Credentials and Experience
I worked in a variety of community-based settings from hospitals, the criminal justice system, outpatient, and within local communities providing crisis intervention, counseling, and advocacy and connection to needed services. This has allowed me to work with individuals of all ages, needs, and contexts within the Chicago area.
Through my own healing recovery from burnout, I have found enjoyment and freedom in switching to private practice to support others on their healing journey.

Billing and Insurance
What insurance do you take?
I am in-network with BlueCross BlueShield PPO and Optum/United Healthcare PPO plans. If I am out-of-network with your insurance plan and you want to use your benefits, you can be provided a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. You will need to check with your insurance provider to check the details of your specific plan to help determine if this is a good option for you.
What are your fees without insurance?
My out-of-pocket rate is $170 for the initial intake 60 minute appointment and $155 for ongoing sessions. Prior to your first session you will receive a good faith estimate, as part of the No Surprises Act, to help you understand and plan financially for services rendered.
I do offer Sliding Scale rates to individuals who do not have insurance and are experiencing financial hardship. This is determined on a case-by-case basis.
